To Divorce Or Not? That Is The Question
Millions of people just like you decide to end their marriages every day. Recent statistics reflect that approximately fifty percent or more of all marriages will end and this is not related to religious conviction or beliefs. Whilst the statistics are depressing, you must not ever believe that merely since you’re having issues in your marriage, you must get divorced. This is something that should be carefully weighed and considered before pursuing.
Kids are bombarded by fairy tales of hand some princes, sleeping beauties and forever after from an early age. Well in the real world, there are not fairy godmothers to wave magic wands and ensure this ending. One of the first conclusions newlyweds will come to is that there will be problems and issues in their marriage. You are taking two flawed human beings, placing them under the same roof for years, and adding in the stress of financial burdens, children and in-laws, even the best of couples can crack. Once trouble surfaces in a marriage, it is imperative that you and your spouse persistently work thru the problems.
For years, people have said that everything changes when you get married and on some levels that is true. You are combining your life with someone else’s of course some things will change. If your spouse does not adapt well to marriage there will be problems.
For instance, say you marry a person who is “early to bed and early to rise” - up at the crack of dawn and very career-oriented. It wouldn’t make much sense to expect them to stay up late to gaze at the stars or to call in “sick” to steal some precious moments with you. None of this is in their nature and also when you might be thinking of course if you were expecting your new spouse to stop drinking, smoking, playing video games all the time or some other vice you are expecting a guy other than the one you married.
By far the worst betrayal in a marriage is infidelity. Trust is broken at the deepest level and the wound suffered by the other spouse runs incredibly deep. People list this episode as one of the most painful – sometimes even more than abuse.
A mate cheating on you is usually grounds for a break up because learning to trust that person again is too hard to deal with. You may decide that divorce is simply the only option. Having said this, your options are not limited to this single alternative. It is possible to restore the relationship but the road is long and both parties must be committed.
The decision on whether to divorce or not is a difficult one and the truth is only you and your spouse will know for sure when there is no going back. For situations where the relationship leads to physical altercations you should at least separate until both of you can get some help, but barring that ending your marriage is something only you can decide.

Deciding To Divorce - The Last Straw
Considering if you want a divorce or not can cause a lot of stress, regardless if it is the male or female who is thinking about it. There are many factors to consider, including children and whether or not your marriage can (or should) be saved. Then, there is the division of assets, not to mention other various financial and emotional repercussions. No predetermined or set lists exist to assist you with determining whether divorce is the best option.
Whether or not a marriage should end in divorce is based on the individuals and the reasoning behind a divorce. You’ve got to ask yourself whether you feel the circumstances are beyond the point of being able to go back, or if it’s possible or of any value to save. Many question whether they should remain a couple for the sake of the children. There are many who say that children of divorce are miserable and the like, but what about the kids whose parents are fighting all the time, cheating on each other and generally being miserable.
How much love you still have for one another is a huge factor in deciding whether or not to divorce. Are you even still talking to each other, or sitting silently every time your with them? Are you both finding ways to argue, or fight with each other? Do you even know who they are anymore, or the other way around? Is there a point in trying to re-establish a relationship with your spouse if the two of you have become so unfamiliar with each other, or should you just let it fizzle away.
The biggest thing about this is trying to prevent the subject from rising up in the first place. People marry and make a commitment to make it last until death for a very serious reason, or else there would have been no need to marry at all.
Marriage is just like anything else, if you really want it to last, you have to work at making it last.
No doubt that there are many couples who prefer not to get married, but even today there are plenty of couples who still opt for marriage and having kids. While to some it may be out of the norm, you should do two things to make sure that a marriage is going to last a long time. One is that you should live together as a couple for at least a year before getting married.
People act differently when they are dating than when they are married, and the only way to really know about someone you date is to live with them for a period of time. If a year of dating has you totally devoted to each other in every way then it’s time to tie the knot. If this isn’t possible, you may both go away without regretting a lot.
A couple who has been married for just a brief period of time should wait a while before starting a family. This doesn’t mean you shouldn’t have children, rather it means that you should get to know one another and establish your own bonds before deciding on whether to have a family. Too many times, newlyweds dive into having a family, and caring for these kids turns into their entire universe. Sometimes people don’t discover they’ve lost their bond with their spouse until it’s far too late. Since there is plenty of time to have children, married couples need to take the first few years of their marriage to get to know their mate.

Tips For Living When You’re Older And Divorced
Ending a marriage changes many things and is life altering. When a couple has been married for a long time this is even more true. The same problems that end younger marriages can also end longer marriages and can be a variety of reasons. Younger people are able to bounce back following a divorce quicker than older people.

The personal devastation someone is experiencing can take a great deal of work to get past. If you are getting a divorce after being married a long time, the following advice might assist you. Whilst all individuals and marriages are unique, you can use the general hints in this article to assist you, the first one being don’t attempt to rush your feelings. Grieving is a natural part of a relationship ending. The overwhelming, painful emotions brought on by divorce can often mimic those brought on by the death of a loved one. Feeling similar emotions is very common. Don’t push yourself faster than necessary.
Do not be hard on yourself because of the end of your marriage. In longer relationships, a lot of the time it’s hard to know if a single thing spelled certain doom for the marriage, and in the majority of instances, it’s not healthy to assign blame to either yourself or your ex.

A Young Male Requires Treatment For His Acute Depression and Divorce Difficulties and For His Alcoholism and Drug Addiction
Nearly a year ago I had dinner with a forty-six-year-old man named Alexander who experiences acute depression, has marital problems, and who is dependent on drugs and alcohol. As affirmed by Alexander, it is his drug and alcohol dependency and his severe depression that had the most to do with his unceasing divorce issues.
I remember reading that a history of mental health concerns, drug abuse, and unhealthy and excessive drinking commonly occur in the same family. Moreover, I have read that under such circumstances, a person needs to get counseling for both medical situations and that addiction and mental health difficulties tend to take place in the same person.
As stated by Alexander, he is so dejected by his divorce issues and by both of his medical conditions that he essentially has no reason to accomplish much of anything. What is especially sad about this is that earlier in his life, Alexander managed to finish two semesters of grad school in botany.
Alexander’s situation makes me question if he is an illustration of a person who can address his drug abuse and alcohol drinking problems and do something constructive about these issues or if he is an individual who has to hit the bottom of the barrel before he gets drug and alcohol dependency treatment that leads to long lasting sobriety.
The Need For a Counseling Program He Can Believe In and a Psychologist He Can Trust
If it would be helpful I would expect that I could advise him about several blogs and websites that could possibly help him learn more about drug abuse symptoms, the stages of alcoholism, substance abuse information, and relationship issues. From where I stand, nonetheless, Alexander needs to locate a rehabilitation program he can believe in and follow through over the long haul and find a psychologist he can trust.
I could be mistaken but it seems logical to conclude that Alexander more likely than not needs to look in the mirror regarding his drug addiction signs and alcoholic symptoms and acknowledge the fact that he cannot abuse drugs or drink at all if he wants to get sober, stay sober, and start on the route to long-term recovery.
It may be asked how therapy would help his drug and alcohol dependency. First of all, there are quite a few recently developed doctor-prescribed drugs that can help Alexander through his withdrawal symptoms, through the alcohol and drug detoxification process, and help him avoid an alcohol or a drug relapse.
Second, Alexander would learn to understand the fact that there is entirely nothing productive about chemical dependency and abusive and unhealthy drinking and that involving himself in one or both circumstances is the route to financial difficulties, legal problems, deteriorating health, shattered relationships, a premature death, and poor work and school performance.
Third, therapy for his depression and for his marital issues might help him manage these mental health difficulties more effectively and perhaps create less of a need for him to engage in addictive behavior.
The Significance of Recovery Groups Like Narcotics Anonymous and Alcoholics Anonymous
There are possibly several other individuals, family members, and friends who would desire to help Alexander with his drug addiction and his careless and excessive drinking. He possibly would experience greater understanding from a support group such as Narcotics Anonymous or Alcoholics Anonymous, however, instead of listening to individuals who drink in moderation or who have never abused drugs.
When People Do Things They Love and About Which They Are Passionate
There’s a philosophical outlook that asserts that individuals who accomplish things they love and something about which they are passionate attain a wonderful place in life. Stated differently, when people do what they love, they almost never experience boredom or an uneventful life. If they get involved in something that is satisfying, what is more, they become more whole and experience more happiness and delight in life, in their relationships, and in their friendships.
When this is thought about for a few minutes it becomes apparent that this affirmative mindset is widely divergent from a life that is centered in chemical dependency because such a lifestyle removes the contentment and delight that life offers.
Since Alexander doesn’t have the ambition to do much of anything in his life, it is evident that he definitely needs a little hope for a more productive lifestyle. And the unfortunate thing is that hope is virtually everywhere around Alexander if he could only get to the point in life to get the counseling he requires for his mental illness and chemical dependency and stay with his treatment program.
Enhanced Relationships, A Wonderful Life, Self Respect, and Constructive Change Are Possibilities
Alexander is clearly too young to be crushed in life. He doesn’t understand this right now but if he can learn how to abstain from alcohol and drugs via drug and alcohol rehab and get the counseling he needs for his severe depression, he can turn his life around and start living with passion, direction, and with self-respect.
More meaningful relationships, constructive change, self respect, and a wonderful life are certainly possibilities for Alexander if only he could get inspired to get the medical treatment he requires, follow through with his treatment protocol, live his life in a healthy and addiction-free way, and learn how to develop a more positive attitude about his existence.
The Basics Of Divorce
A couple decide upon divorce as a tool, having struggled for long. They may be married for a very short time or for a very long time.
Either way, this is simply the termination of a marriage. Divorce legally dissolves a marriage to the same extent that it was ever legally binding. It is not allowed in many countries but in others it is commonly accepted.
There are plenty of reasons for this legal termination to take place. In many cases it is a simple realization that there was not “a good fit”. More serious cases involve children and how to determine custody of them before the divorce can be completed. Children are extremely important to their parents, and are thus central to the process.
In most instances, the cases is decided in favor of the better parent. Obviously, legal determination of what makes a good parent can be difficult at best, and truly confusing and often emotionally damaging for the child involved. The idea of parents separating at all can be emotionally traumatizing for even the most stable child. Even if their trust in their parents is incomplete, most children will love and care for both of their parents.
This proceeding can occur at any time after the marriage has begun. It can be less than 5 years or many more than that. USA has an alarming statistics of only 5 out of 100 divorce cases challenged by one of the spouse ! It means that both wife and husband can agree the divorce without a lawyer or other legal body. If a marriage is to be dissolved, many governments require legal information.
In many nations, marriage termination rates are relatively high. There are roots that go back to ancient culture that often determine the general acceptance or relativity of these practices in modern day life. If one is curious about a given regions statistics, simple cursory research of ancient practices will lead to interesting and revealing results. This type of informational studies is really positive.
Before considering terminating a marriage, many couples consult professionals who offer services designed to prevent a marriage from dissolving by dealing with issues couples typically face at certain points during their relationship. For some marriages that are meant to stand the test of time these services are sometimes doubted, but that doesn’t mean that you shouldn’t try them anyway.

Why Divorce is Difficult for Kids
Divorce is an ugly word, for everybody except divorce lawyers. There is too much pain for all the people involved. It is really tough to get back on tract after such a traumatic experience. There are a lot of people who have never recovered from such situations in their lifetime. Some people choose to drown thier sorrows with liquor and others over-work themselves.
The maximum price may end up being paid by the children. Adults are equipped with ways to answer any questions relating to failure of their relationship. But children are often left confused as to why their parents no longer love each other or do not want to be together.
Although they are only children, folks still ask them questions about issues that they have no idea how to answer. Sometimes they will respond truthfully and feel guilty, sensing betrayal of their mom and dad. Sometimes, white lies are employed and they act as if nothing is going on. They may at such times portray as if they are very happy, when in fact, they are miserable. This behavior may persist for lifetime.
Those kids whose parents have marital problems generally tend to become withdrawn at school. This can affect everyones academic performances. A few children though, completely immerse themselves into studies, while others may become nasty or aggressive. This is only a defense mechanism they develop to avoid unwanted questions and behavior.
While some children might display nastiness or aggression, others will totally immerse themselves into their studies. This is only a defense mechanism they develop to avoid unwanted questions and behavior.
So deep is the impact on some children that even when they grow up, the scars are visible through their behavior. As a result an adult child of divorce is likely to stay married, even when divorce is warranted. A child of a couple which has always argued a great deal may actually welcome the divorce, since it finally brings about a calmer home life.
Often in the parent who gains custody of their child has a better relationship with them, although some children can think that the parent does not try hard enough. The flaws in their parents can even be highlighted by them. This behavior varies depending on the child’s age. Explaining the reason why one parent has responsibility for the child is very tricky, and often the non-custodial parent is made to look bad. Unfortunately the child may resent the non-custodial parent, and will therefore miss out on all the good things that parent may provide. Despite this, there aren’t any simple rules that define the behaviour of a child either as a child or a grown-up but you will see some signs of an experience like this.
Custody hearings and other judicial processes where personal laundry is aired out can affect the child. A child is merely searching for someone to love them. Separation can raise insecurities in a child, since one of the parents is predominantly absent. Both parents are needed for the children. Divorce therefore becomes a process through which child’s world is shattered.

How To Win Her Back - With A Few Solid Psychological Tactics
She’s currently out of your life, but you obviously want her back into it. If you need to know how to win her back then look no further than psychological mind games to help you on your way. A few people may frown on the use of tactics like these, but who cares what they think. The important thing is to win her back.
Most people are blind to it but we are manipulated almost every day by psychological tactics. The whole world is at it in some form or other, two big culprits are governments and the advertising industry. Take the employee of the month competition. You don’t win anything other than bragging right but the overall production goes up.
She returns your call without you even asking
This is how it goes. We nearly all love receiving letters, as long as they aren’t bills. You send her a handwritten note. You tell her how good things are for you right now and that you would like to thank her.
By doing this you raise 2 things in her. Curiosity & pride. She’s curious as to why you want to thank her, and then pride kicks in because you’ve thanked her. We all love being thanked. She will be curious enough to call you. She needs to know why you would thank her. Of course the reason you say is that the split has down you the world of good.
Of course the real reason for the letter was to get her to call you. If you play this one right you can eventually have her believe she made first contact with you again. Because in the letter you never asked her to call you. The fact is the letter weaved its magic and she did as expected, she called you back.
I can show you later on where to get an exact blueprint for the actual letter to send. There are some other neat little moves just like this one.
Play on her good memories
You can use her favourite things to further your quest to win her back. If for instance you know what her all time fav song is, you can use this. Food and smells are good as well.
If she ever comes to your place or calls you (after receiving the letter!). You have the song on in the background just loud enough for her subconscious mind to hear it. In the back of her mind when she thinks of that song she thinks of the most recent time she heard it, that was on the phone to you. Her subconscious will transfer some of her love for the song back to you.
Jealous curiosity
If you can arrange a night out with a few friends, be seen to be having fun. Also make sure that your ex finds out just what a good time you had.
Don’t go out on a 1 to 1 date as this may well scare her off completely. But a friends night out will make her feel a bit jealous as she was left out. She will expect you to be still mourning her but here she finds you out & about enjoying yourself. She may well feel she wants to be part of the fun again like it used to be.
Those are just a few of the many psychological mind games you can use to win her back. Other may look on them as wrong, but they aren’t going to do any lasting harm. They are quite simple and harmless. Of course you don’t want to be using them just willy nilly.
You want to be putting these tips in as part of a bigger plan to win her back. You can screw the whole game up without a system to follow.
Have a look at what I think are the best couple systems to help you to win her back at my website…
Get Your Ex Back - Save Your Relationship With The Help Of These 3 Tips
Do you want to get your ex back after a recent breakup? Maybe it’s not that bad yet and you haven’t split, but it’s looking bleak. You can use the following three tips to help you get what you want.
Saving a relationship may well seem like hard work, but it should be worth the effort. Especially if you both silently realise it shouldn’t be over. The next three tips could be just the thing to kick-start you into getting your ex back, or your relationship back on the rails.
1 - Look back to where it all started
What was it about your partner that first attracted you to them? And just what was it about you that they fell for? It’s easy to forget these things when you settle into the hum drum routine of a long term relationship.
At the very beginning you make the effort to please your new found love by playing up on the things they like. You need to recreate that person. You need to rediscover the person that your ex (or partner) first fell in love with.
2 - You need attraction to each other
Being attractive to your partner is key to a good relationship. Without it there is nothing. Think of magnets. They are attracted to each other, but turn them round and they are repelled by each other. If you aren’t attractive to them you will push them away sooner rather than later.
But attraction doesn’t mean making yourself look nice. Attraction can come in the shape of intelligence or humour. Identify what they were attracted to and play up on that again.
3 - Talking to each other
Communicating is important when you are trying to rescue your relationship. But don’t overdo it. No one likes heavy duty “talks” and most will try hard to avoid them. If you can keep the conversation light and friendly this will help bring you closer.
Try to recreate the sort of conversations you had when you first met. It was those early conversations that brought you both closer. If you can show your partner (or ex) that you can be the person they first met you are well on your way to saving your relationship.
Relationship rescue 101
Although the tips above seem simple enough when you read them, actually putting them into practice is much more difficult. A lot of people lack the confidence to actually take action, and sadly end up doing nothing. I’ve been there & done that, or not done it as is the case here. Not having the confidence to go forward will kill any chance you had to make things up.
You could of course make the smart move and get yourself the confidence you need with a step by step system to get your ex back or save your relationship. Check out my reviews of the top 3 systems at my website…
